Bullet Laser Pointer

Sniper rifle laser question?

i was wondering if i got a laser pointer and mounted it to my gun would the bullet hit were ever the laser is pointing at? and im not talking about a bore or anything i mean a laser pointer

I have a feeling you are fairly young. You could try and it may be close but it would not work as well as a professional model that you buy. The problem comes in from your mounting system and the ability to adjust the elevation and windage or the up and down and the left and right of your laser pointer to help it align with the gun. If you could mount it securely with no shift or movement while firing and you could adjust it incrementally then it would work as you think but only until the recoil of the gun battered the laser pointer until it no longer works.

Most sniper rifles do not use laser pointers. Usually shorter range guns out to 300 yds or handguns use laser aiming devices.

But it might be fun to put on a .22 to see if you could make it sort of work. Think Kentucky windage or the bullet shoots high and left of the beam so I will put my laser pointer low and right of the target… Get the idea?
