The Xerox Phaser 6100 Toner – Able To Keep Up With Your Printing Demands
The WorkCentre 390 printer is a small version of a WorkCentre Pro. It comes in handy in homes where most people do not want a big, clunky machine sitting in some corner. It is just as handy and can be used in any office as well as home.
The WorkCentre 390 is a laser printer from Xerox. It was designed to replace its brother printer the WorkCentre 385. Besides a printer, it, also, includes a color scanner, fax machine, and copier function. The printer is capable of printing ten pages per minute at 600×600 dpi. It holds up to 150 pieces of paper in the paper tray. The color scanner is capable of 300×300 dpi. The copier can copy up to ten pages per minute, also, and up to 4800 dpi.
The WorkCentre 390′s scanner and fax machine functions have a 6 second function, although, the time it takes for the information to transfer from the PC to the printer may change. The fax machine is capable of speed dial and can hold up to 80 different numbers. With a two megabyte memory the printer is decent to be a few years old. It, also, has a USB interface. The printer can also print on other documentation such as card stocks, envelopes, and labels. The printer, also, has an option to reduce or enlarge your documents.
Other features included with the WorkCentre 390 are the three different trays. The trays included are a document input tray, a printer exit tray, and a document exit tray. The cords and wires needed to connect your printer to your PC should be included, too. The cords found should be a 6 foot PC cord, a 6 foot USB cord, an AC power cord, and a telephone cord. Also, found when first opening the printer should be your starter cartridge.
The installation process for the WorkCentre 390 is very simple. It comes with two detailed guides. One covers the installation process while the other goes over the main features on the printer. So, anyone new to this type of printer should have no problem figuring it out.
The Xerox Phaser 6100 Toner is included with the printer. After you have completed the first stages of installation, then the printer is ready to have the cartridge put in it. Make sure to shake the cartridge from side to side to make sure the toner is evenly dispersed. Then, carefully remove the sealing tape from the cartridge. Grasp the handle of the cartridge and move it down the cartridge slot until it clicks into place. After that, close the lid and you are done.
When looking for more Phaser 6100 Toner, you do not have to go much further than your computer. It is found at many printer websites, including Xerox. Sometimes you may be able to find the toner for around $8 but most of the time the only toner found is the Xerox brand which runs about $98. Although it costs more, it covers all parts of the printer, and you will not have to worry about it not working right.
The WorkCentre 390 is a simple all in one printer that is convenient to have no matter what you are using it for. With an easy installation process, it is hard to pass up. Also.
