Are they really allowing this?

The sale of the deadly laser pointer thing, that has been likened to a star wars lightsaber, its 1000 times stronger than your average laser pointer. It was on the Sky News (Technology) website, i can’t believe their actually allowing the sale of these from online. Apparently it can cause blindness and cancer.

Don’t they say mobile phones can cause cancer & that hasn’t stopped their sale, has it?
If a company can make £ selling them, the government can make £ taxing them
( everything brought in the UK incurs tax, from 15 % – 25 % depending ) & Sky will make £ marketing them, so nothing will stop their sale, regardless of health risks.
Like someone has already mentioned, cigarettes cause cancer, alcohol also has physical & mental health risks but the government hasn’t banned them, far from it.
Tax.
It’s all about the taxes.
