I’m just learning to play pool/billiards. What are the best training aids?
What training aids are good? laser cues, training balls, etc. Which are the most effective?
Training aids can be fun but have limited effectiveness until you actually know how to perform a proper stroke. The single best method for developing good form is to get formal instruction from a certified pool instructor. Because you are just learning to play, this is actually the best time to reinforce the fundamentals. You don’t have years of bad habits holding you back. The best thing you can do is to visit a BCA certified training academy. I’ll provide the link to the BCA website.
