Laser Toner Cartridge P1006

Do laser printers need a black ink toner?

I just bouught an HP Model # P1006 laser printer and I installed it but it says it needs a black toner cartridge. Does this come with it or do I need to buy it? Please help I am so confused

Depending on where you bought it, some come with the cartridge, some don’t.
If it is already installed, you will need to ensure the protective film is removed. It can be identified by a (usually) blue tab on one side of the cartridge. Grasp it tightly and PULL!!!
