I want to get it a 5mw 532nm green laser pointer.
I dont want to hurt anybody but I really want one so is it that dangerous or not Oh and canit blind someone. and how long does it take to cause permanant damage and is it alot better than a red one. and out curiousity is a blue, purple, red, yellow, or green laser more powerful

If you shine a 5mw green laser in somebody’s eye, they’re blink reflex will save them. However, if you do stare into the laser, there is a possibility of blindness. This laser is also not illegal in the USA. It can be safe if used with care, however, do not give it to a toddler or misuse it. If you’re really concerned about safety, you can also buy laser safety goggles.
A green laser is four times as much visible as the red, at the same power. A 5mw laser in purple, red, yellow or whatever color of your choice are all the same power. However, you may see the colors at differnt brightnesses depending on how the human eye responds to it.
