Wireless Laser Printer
I want to share a laser printer between 2 Macs and 1 PC at home over a wireless newtork. Is this possible?
I currently own an HP LaserJet 1200. Can I add a wireless network card to this printer or I have to buy a new printer?
The simplest way to do that would be to physically connect the printer to one of the computers and share the printer so the other computers can print through that printer.
Alternatively, if you don’t want to connect any one computer to the printer, you can get a JetDirect print server. The 1200n comes with JetDirect already, though I don’t think it is wireless. In any event, HP sells wireless JetDirect servers which would work with your printer.
